1995 Ford F-250 - XLT - 460 - Auto - 75K Miles

1995 Ford F-250 XLT – 460 V8 | 4x4 | Two-Tone Time Capsule with 75K Actual Miles

In the world of heavy-duty pickups, the 1995 Ford F-250 XLT stands tall as one of the last true workhorses of the pre-Super Duty era. Built with Ford’s legendary durability, the 1995 model year represented the final stretch of the ninth-generation F-Series trucks—an era celebrated for its rugged body-on-frame construction and bulletproof powertrains. For Ford enthusiasts, this was the twilight of the classic square-body trucks before a full redesign arrived in 1997.

This particular F-250 XLT is a remarkable survivor: a factory two-tone Oxford White and Light Smoke Metallicregular cab 4x4, ordered through Kendall Ford in Eugene, Oregon, and built in August 1995 at Ford’s Ontario plant. With just 75,030 actual miles on the odometer, it has seen light, respectful use across its lifetime and maintains a truly exceptional level of originality and care.

Powering this F-250 is the original 7.5L (460 CID) EFI V8, backed by Ford’s E4OD 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission—a torque-rich combo favored for its heavy-hauling capability and long-haul reliability. The 4.10 limited-slip rear axle ensures low-end grunt on command, while its manual locking hubs and transfer case offer the kind of mechanical simplicity that off-road purists appreciate. The 10.25” rear end and factory dual exhaust with crossover, catalytic converter, and dual tips complete its robust driveline setup.

Its Marti Report reveals that this truck was one of just 285 built in this paint combination, and one of only 83 with its specific trim and paint codes—a rare configuration that enhances its collector value.

This F-250 retains all the hallmarks of the XLT trim, including power windows, power locks, cruise control, tilt steering, and the original AM/FM cassette stereo with factory clock. The Opal Grey premium cloth interior remains original and shows beautifully for its age. The 40/20/40 bench seat includes a fold-down center console with cup holders, and the driver’s seat includes a power lumbar adjustment for long-haul comfort.

Underneath, the suspension and steering have seen modern refreshment, including newer front-end components and the addition of rear airbag helper springs with fender-mounted inflation valves—a thoughtful upgrade for towing or load leveling. A rear trailer hitch and aftermarket trailer brake controller are already in place, making this truck ready for immediate use with modern trailers.

The body is remarkably straight and well preserved. The silver lower section is original, while the white upper body has been professionally repainted to a factory-correct finish, accented by new pinstriping. The factory 16" forged aluminum wheels are wrapped in Falken Wildpeak A/T tires, dated 2021 in the front and 2019 in the rear. From its original body side moldings to its bright chrome bumpers and mirrors, the presentation is clean, correct, and consistent with low-mileage preservation.

According to the CarFax report, this truck enjoyed a three-owner history, all within the Pacific Northwest. Its most recent owners continued the legacy of gentle use and diligent maintenance, including routine oil changes, cooling system updates, differential servicing, and transmission fluid flushes. No accidents, no damage, and no odometer discrepancies are reported, with a final odometer reading of 72,544 miles before check-in at PC Classic Cars.

This 1995 F-250 XLT isn’t just a handsome truck—it’s a testament to what happens when a heavy-duty rig is treated with the same respect often reserved for classic cars. Whether admired for its rarity, praised for its drivetrain, or appreciated for its originality, this Ford represents a bridge between the utility of the past and the collectibility of the present.
