Chevrolet Corvette 1969 / 350 original / 4 velocidades / Aire acondicionado de fábrica

1969 Chevrolet Corvette – A Timeless American Icon

The 1969 Chevrolet Corvette holds a special place in the pantheon of American muscle cars. As the second year of the C3 generation, the ’69 model refined the bold styling introduced in 1968, bringing back the beloved Stingray badging while enhancing both performance and comfort. This was an era when Corvettes weren’t just sports cars—they were symbols of power, freedom, and cutting-edge engineering.

This particular 1969 Corvette, finished in a striking blue, originally left the factory in Riverside Gold (paint code 980)and features an original black leather interior (code Z04). With its unmistakable long hood, aggressive fender flares, and sweeping fastback rear, this Corvette captures the essence of late '60s performance. It also boasts an impressive set of T-tops and a removable back glass, offering the open-air driving experience that makes C3 Corvettes so beloved.

Numbers-Matching Performance

Under the hood, this Corvette retains its original, numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8 (engine suffix code HX), an engine that perfectly balances power and reliability. The factory four-barrel carburetor setup has been upgraded with an Edelbrock intake and carburetor, providing an extra punch in throttle response. The Muncie 4-speed manual transmission ensures an engaging driving experience, making this a true driver’s Corvette.

To keep things cool under the hood, an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans has been installed, an upgrade that enhances performance while preserving the car’s long-term reliability. The car exhales through a dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers and full tailpipes with tips, providing an unmistakable American V8 soundtrack.

Factory-Equipped with Comfort & Convenience

This Corvette came well-optioned from the factory, featuring power steering and four-wheel power disc brakes, both of which make it a more composed and refined cruiser. The factory air conditioning (converted to R134A refrigerant)blows cold, ensuring comfort on warm summer drives. Inside, the car retains its original bucket seats and center console layout, complemented by a Pioneer CD/AM/FM radio for a mix of classic style and modern audio capability.

The original factory tachometer and gauge cluster remain in place, giving the driver a full view of the engine’s performance. The 15” OE Rally wheels wrapped in 245/60 BFGoodrich tires (manufactured in 2012) complete the period-correct stance, offering both style and grip on the road.

A Well-Preserved Undercarriage & Interior

This Corvette presents very clean underneath, with a well-maintained independent rear suspension (IRS) and a solid frame. The floor pans show well with no signs of fiberglass repairs, and the suspension and steering components appear to have been replaced at some point, ensuring a smooth and responsive ride.

Inside, the black leather seats show minor aging but remain in great condition for their vintage. The gauge cluster, dash, and trim panels have been well cared for, with only light signs of wear. While the carpet behind the seats and on the floor shows some age, it retains a classic and well-kept feel. Small details like the original sun visors, scuff plates, and door panels add to the authentic charm of this late-‘60s time capsule.

A Classic Ready for the Road

With 17,693 miles on the odometer (though actual mileage cannot be verified), this 1969 Corvette has been well-maintained and thoughtfully upgraded while preserving its originality. The combination of its numbers-matching 350 V8, Muncie 4-speed transmission, factory A/C, and power options makes this an exceptionally well-rounded example of the C3 Corvette.

Whether you’re looking for a weekend cruiser, a spirited driver’s car, or a piece of American muscle car history, this ‘69 Corvette embodies everything that made the third-generation model such a legend.
